L’Instrumentarium was born in 1980, with 3 main focus : harps, pianos, and sheet music.
We have shops in Paris, Tours and Strasbourg (shop Arpège Armand Meyer).
The most prestigious brands
L’Instrumentarium is the exclusive distributor of Salvi and Lyon&Healy harps in France.
In the heart of Paris, our new 2700 sqft showroom displays every collections of Salvi and Lyon&Healy harps: lever harps, student pedal harps and professional concert harps.
By appointment, harpists can try out the instruments, with advice from our team and - on every Fridays and Saturdays - from a professional harpist on site.
L’instrumentarium also offers short or long term harp rentals.
At every harpist’s service
Our store at Rue Fondary also provides a harp repair and revision workshop. Certified technicians are available for in store or home repairs if necessary. We also organize harp revision tours all around France.
L’Instrumentarium offers a unique specialized sheet music selection, dedicated solely to harp literature. We are also here to help and guide you, shall you have any special requests concerning rarely edited harp scores.
You will also be able to find in our store most of the harp related accessories: strings, tuning keys, harp covers, dollies, music stands, harp chairs or benches, etc. All of those can also be ordered online or by phone contacting our Call Center.
And finally, 2 practice rooms are available in the showroom, which can be used by appointment or anytime if free during our business hours, for the harpists on the harp of their election.
At the heart of French Harp
L’Instrumentarium organizes numerous events around the harp : concerts and master classes.
L’Instrumentarium goes to meet the harpists all over France, throwing fairs and exhibitions in different regions throughout the year.
Starting in 2017, the « Harpissima » program arrived in France! With as main goal to bring together concertists, professionals, students and amateurs over a week-end dedicated to the harp: temporary showroom, sales, masterclasses, concerts and workshops.
To promote the harp, in association with local music schools, L’Instrumentairum organizes tours of the Salvi factory and the Victor Salvi Museum for the Harp in Piasco, Italy.
